She began her real estate journey as a realtor in Virginia Beach, VA, and then transitioned to work alongside a seasoned residential investor who has been in business since 2015. Together, they serve Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding cities, specializing in acquiring distressed properties, fixing title issues such as title breaks and missing heirs, renovating, and then selling them on the market. As the business operations manager and fix-and-flip project manager, Sofia has gained invaluable insights into every facet of the real estate process. Actively working on fix and flips in various cities in Texas, Sofia sees the market firsthand, understanding the intricacies of purchasing and selling a home, interest rates, sales cycles, and property values. Despite market conditions, she believes it is still very possible to purchase investment properties, whether for long-term family investment through homeownership or short-term or long-term residential and commercial ventures.
